Hello everyone, and welcome to another of my reviews. In this article, I’ll review my experience undergoing slimming treatments at Fat Hope’s new Aperia Mall outlet.

As I’ve mentioned in some of my previous articles, I’ve put on a little weight recently and have been looking to shed a few pounds. Having undergone fat-freezing treatments at Fat Hope before, I reached out to them again and was informed that they had just opened a new, larger outlet at Aperia Mall. Instead of returning for another treatment at their original Bugis Junction store, they invited me to visit the new space—so let’s see whether this new outlet lives up to expectations.

I’ve previously documented my experience of undergoing the Fat Freezing treatments, so I’ll gloss over the details here. Instead, I’ll focus mostly on the experience at the new outlet.

Fat Hope’s new Aperia Mall outlet.

Fat Hope’s new outlet is located on the second level of Aperia Mall. With its brightly lit facade, it is hard to miss.

The first thing that stood out was how much more spacious the treatment room at Aperia Mall is compared to the one at Bugis Junction—more than twice the size, in fact. According to Fat Hope, this was very much intentional: while the Bugis Junction outlet is geared towards quick, lunchtime treatments for nearby office workers, the Aperia Mall location is designed to deliver a more indulgent, spa-like experience for those looking to unwind and relax.

As before, I opted for the 360 Thermal Fat Blast treatment, which utilises the Cryosculpt 360 machine. This is a well-established procedure offered by aesthetic and beauty clinics worldwide, with a proven track record in both safety and efficacy.

The treatment begins with the therapist applying a protective film to the targeted area, followed by placing the applicator handles. This time, a plush toy was also included—what initially seemed like a playful touch was, in fact, a practical addition. The therapist explained that it helps to keep the handles securely in place should they shift during the session.

During the 40-minute treatment, I was left to relax on my own but was thoughtfully provided with an alarm device that I could press at any time if I experienced discomfort.

For more details on the 360 Fat Freezing treatment, I suggest reading my previous article, which chronicled the process in detail.

The only noticeable aftereffects of the treatment are redness and mild stiffness in the targeted area, both of which typically subside within 1 to 2 days.

The AI Lipomelt machine.

For my next session, Sylvia (the founder of Fat Hope) recommended I try the AI Lipomelt treatment, a non-invasive, painless, needle-free body-contouring treatment.

Although this is a relatively new treatment on the market, it has been used at Fat Hope for about 3 months, with some clients reporting immediate reductions in bloating and improved contour.

Fat Hope’s proprietary ampoule.

Sylvia first handed me a pair of earplugs, explaining that the AI Lipomelt treatment can get fairly loud during the session. She then brought out the ampoule—delivered into the skin via the machine—which she explained contains active ingredients such as caffeine, L-carnitine and wild mushroom extract, specifically formulated to help break down stubborn fat and increase metabolism.

Loading the syringe into the applicator gun.

Next, she filled up the syringe with the ampoule, before loading it into the applicator gun. Again, fret not – this procedure is non-invasive and does not involve needles.

Uses nano-mist technology to deliver the ampoule onto the skin.

Instead, the applicator gun employs nano-mist technology to “inject” the ampoule onto the skin’s surface, allowing it to be absorbed efficiently. The sensation is akin to being prodded by an air gun—not exactly comfortable, but vastly more tolerable than an actual needle gun. The session lasted around 20 minutes, though Sylvia mentioned that some clients opt for additional ampoule bottles (at a higher cost) to achieve faster, more visible results.

While I’m no expert on the technology behind the treatment—and couldn’t quite pinpoint what the “AI” component of the machine entails—I did notice an immediate result. Post-treatment, my midsection appeared noticeably less bloated, with an overall slimming effect, and even looked more toned.

Conclusion – so Fat Hope Aperia Mall “shiok” or not?

Compared to the Bugis Junction outlet, I found my experience at Aperia Mall noticeably more enjoyable, largely due to the increased sense of space and a more luxurious overall ambience. The Bugis Junction treatment rooms felt somewhat cramped—particularly for someone of my build—and the thinner walls occasionally allowed conversations or treatment sounds from neighbouring rooms to carry through. This was not an issue at Aperia Mall, which also offers additional amenities such as facials (see YouTube video) and even pilates sessions for its clients.

Just for my readers, Fat Hope is offering a $20 discount on their first-timer trial prices. After the discount, a 3-session trial package for the 360 Thermal Fat Blast would cost $448, while the more affordable Fat Freeze Premiere would cost $278. Those looking to try the AI Lipomelt treatment can do so for $448. Simply quote “WAHSOSHIOK” when booking your appointment via WhatsApp to enjoy the discounted trial prices. As for the treatment’s efficacy, it is worth emphasising that it is not a magic bullet, and is best accompanied by a regular diet and exercise. I suggest viewing these treatments as a supplementary measure, or an avenue to get started on your slimming journey.
