In this listicle, I’ll be shortlisting the best affordable (sub-S$50) rubber watch straps you can get in Singapore.

When it comes to comfort, nothing beats the rubber strap. Pair your sports watch with a nice silicone strap, and you’re all set for everything from a dip in the pool to a trip to the gym. In this listicle, I’ll be rounding up my top 5 rubber strap options from local brands, without breaking the bank.

1) Straps House

If you’re on an ultra-tight budget, consider Straps House.

My opinion: Straps House offers some of the most affordable straps on the market. Despite the low price, its straps are of decent quality, and regularly punches above its price points. If you don’t want to spend too much – perhaps you’re just looking for a replacement strap for a cheap Timex, for example – then I’ll recommend something like the Silicone Rubber Watch Strap, which costs just S$8. Available in a variety of colours, there will definitely be something up your alley.

Price: Starts at just $8 SGD for rubber straps. As Straps House is an official affiliate of Wah So Shiok, simply quote “WAHSOSHIOK” upon checkout to enjoy 10% off all items store-wide!

2) STRAPosphere

Offering a wide range of affordable yet stylish straps, STRAPosphere has cultivated a loyal following over the years.

My opinion: I think STRAPosphere does a great job at providing quality products at a very affordable price – most of its straps hover around the ~$20 USD price point. However, the brand is immensely popular for its huge range of rubber straps. One of its best-sellers is the StrapoCAMO, which pairs perfectly with Panerais, or beefier watches in general. For more detailed opinions, you can read my review of its straps here. I also reviewed some of its latest straps here.

Price: STRAPosphere’s rubber straps start at $7.50 USD/S$10. As STRAPosphere is an official affiliate of Wah So Shiok, simply quote “WAHSOSHIOK” upon checkout to enjoy 10% off all items store-wide!

3) Nomad Watch Works

With a wide range of rubber straps available at affordable price points, Nomad Watch Works is my go-to for bang-for-buck straps.

My opinion: If you’re looking for value propositions, look no further than Nomad Watch Straps. Though most of its straps are extremely affordable, the quality of its straps are actually pretty decent, and punch way above its weight for its price range. In my opinion, the brand offers the best rubber straps one can find for under S$40 with its FKM rubber straps. FKM rubber straps have been the rage recently, and I think Nomad offers one of the best FKM rubber straps that I’ve handled at a very reasonable price. I actually reviewed a bunch of its straps – for a more detailed opinion, do read the article here, here, and its latest straps here. I also reviewed some of its watch storage options here.

Price: Starts at just $35 SGD for the FKM rubber straps. As Nomad Watch Works is an official affiliate of Wah So Shiok, simply quote “WAHSOSHIOK” upon checkout to enjoy 10% off all items store-wide!

4) Wrisky

If you’re looking for fitted rubber straps for your Seiko SKX dive watches, look no further than Wrisky.

My opinion: Curved-end rubber straps, especially for the Seiko SKX series, are a popular niche in the watch enthusiast circles. If you want to zhng your Seiko SKX, Wrisky’s R1 straps will do the job nicely. Made out of TPU rubber for added durability, the R1 straps are designed to fit your Seiko SKX007/009/011 perfectly without any gap, and even comes with custom made 1.6mm thick spring bars to ensure that the strap is held in place firmly. In terms of fit, robustness and price, Wrisky’s line of SKX rubber straps is hard to beat. 5) Wabi Straps

For those looking for something a little different, Wabi Straps offers a range of aesthetically intriguing rubber straps that won’t break the bank.

My pick: the Blue Trim Silicone Waterproof Strap.

My opinion: Wabi Straps has a niche for offering interesting straps, and its selection of rubber straps is no exception. The brand carries rubber straps that look like exotic leather straps, and also a variety of coloured trimmed silicone straps that are not only eye-catching, but also very comfortable to wear. I paired one with my Maison Celadon Yue Fei, and I think the combination looks great. Who says rubber straps have to be boring? For more detailed opinions, do read my review here.
